One of the greatest hurdles, all of us face is not knowing “where to start”. We quite often begin and get stuck; at times not knowing where to seek information, whom to reach out to for mentorship or just not able to decide where to begin.

This is the question we will try to solve here: “Where Should I Start My Investing Journey?


We will try and make this process simple for you and in the process sharing and learning as well. If you would like to help us in this journey, please send us an email to invest@thetwigg.com. We have started from scratch to make it easier for even a novice or a beginner. You can skim through the content or directly jump to the content you find relevant if you are an expert (and if you are an expert, we would love your contribution.


If you are just starting on the journey of investing, or want to know what it is, you might want to first understand, what investment really is. In the article on “What is Investment?”, we have explained the basic concepts of investing, not just related to finance but in general. So that it will help you understand the nuances of why people invest, be it in people, their education, their growth or their future.

Any investment that is made with an expectation of returns, has various parameters/elements at play such as Time and Money. We explore this concept of time and money as well as look at how risk plays an important part in investment decisions.
